About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering an effective record appraisal and disposal program and undertaking analysis and assessment of information management practices to provide expert advice on best practice information management.
This role will also be actively contributing to the daily operations of Information Management as well as providing specialist input to Council’s information governance initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering an effective record appraisal and disposal program
- Excellent communicator with experience in developing communication plans, presentations, user guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Skilled and experienced in providing succinct, accurate advice relating to best practice information management
- Highly experienced in the use of TRIM (Records Manager/Content Manager) and Microsoft 365
- Tertiary qualified in Information/Records management or related discipline
