  • Salary $93,237 (pro rata) + 11.5% Superannuation (pro rata)

Exciting opportunity to join a team developing and implementing the Manningham “My Hub” the new home of Manningham Youth Services, providing support to young people and their families.

About the Role

This position will work closely with the Coordinator Children Youth & Families to support the management of the Manningham Youth Services contract. This includes implementation of the Manningham Youth Hub in close collaboration with Manningham Youth Services, together with providing a physical presence. This role will also be integral to internal advocacy and collaborations; support secretariat functions for Manningham Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC); and key to consultation and targeted engagement with young people.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong flexible communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team using effective interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate cultural competency together with diversity and inclusion awareness.
  • Tertiary qualifications in youth development, health, social services or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in youth development, specialising in youth hub operations and youth engagement initiatives, preferably in a local government context.
