About the Role
As the Coordinator Healthy Ageing, you will oversee and lead the Healthy Ageing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support for older adults. You will collaborate with stakeholders, drive strategic plans, and advocate for the needs of the community to promote healthy ageing and a vibrant community.
Skills and Experience
- Hold a tertiary qualification in health, social services, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of systems and standards of aged care programs, My Aged Care, the Quality Aged Care Standards and Age Friendly Framework, ensuring a comprehensive approach to holistic aged care services.
- Possess extensive experience in the health and/or aged care service delivery sector in a leadership role, with a deep understanding of the complexities associated with healthy ageing, the community sector, and the strategic directions set by Commonwealth Government.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead a diverse service area and manage multiple reports with accountability.
- Showcase proficient project management skills, specifically in the development of strategies and successful project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively (written and verbal) with diverse audiences to develop and maintain professional relationships across client groups, service providers and internal/external stakeholders.
