About the Role

The Team Lead Healthy Ageing is an exciting new role, within an exciting new team.  You will work closely with the Coordinator Healthy Ageing in establishing and developing the new team; build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders; and lead opportunities to make change and impact for older people in Manningham.  Your experience and skills as a people leader will be well utilised with three direct reports providing services in navigation, participation and age-friendly development.   

Skills and Experience

  • An experienced values-based people leader, who can inspire innovation.
  • Skilled in advocacy being well-versed in My Age Care and WHO’s Age-friendly Cities Framework.
  • A collaborative team player, with a proven track record in developing and nurturing strong stakeholder partnerships.
  • A strong community development practice, matched with a nuanced understanding of community planning.
  • Bachelor or post-graduate qualified in health, social services or a related field with extensive experience in health and/or the aged care sector.
