About the Role

This newly created position, report to Financial Accounting Team Lead will be integral to our finance team, supporting key accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the Coordinator of Financial Accounting, Financial Accounting Team Leader and other team members to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, oversee asset accounting processes, and handle regulatory compliance. You will contribute to the preparation of financial statements, assist in month-end and year-end closings, and ensure that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Skills and Experience

  • Support month end and financial year end processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Manage the assets accounting process, compliance and reporting, including asset capitalisation, depreciation, disposal, revaluation, WIP and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
  • Provide support for Financial Accounting Team and ad-hoc requirement.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.
