About the Role

This role is responsible for the strategic and operational management, leadership and provision of Information Management, Privacy and Freedom of Information (FOI) services throughout Manningham Council. The IM Coordinator is a key driver for business process improvements.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Management or a related
  • Highly developed communication skills with a strong track record in implementing best practice in information management through policy and procedure development.
  • Significant specialist knowledge and experience in relation to information and archives management legislative frameworks, including the Public Records Act 1973Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014
  • Experience in managing an information management function with an enterprise-wide information management system.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others and implement contemporary people management practices that are compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience with all levels of organisation
