- Based at Manningham City Square, Doncaster
Work closely with artists and other creative industries professionals to deliver exciting arts education programs and community art projects through Manningham’s arts and cultural venues and public spaces.

About the Role
This role oversees the development and delivery of engaging, high calibre community arts education courses at Manningham Art Studios, while also supporting the delivery of public programs to complement public art installations, placemaking initiatives and community exhibitions. You’ll work closely with a small team of art tutors, as well as collaborate with officers from across Council, artists and community stakeholders to deliver art projects throughout the municipality, employing community cultural development principles to achieve social connection, wellbeing and knowledge and skill development through the arts. Strong skills in cultural venue management, along with an ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and your creative, innovative thinking will ensure you drive successful arts engagement in the Manningham community.
Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified in fine arts (visual arts, community arts), arts education and/or management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering arts education and/or community art programs, and in operating arts and cultural venues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and substantial experience in contemporary visual arts and community arts.
- Ability to work effectively in a community cultural development practice model.
- Proven ability to supervise Art Studio Tutors, artists and contractors.
- Proven ability to manage a dynamic workload and operate effectively under pressure.
