About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to join our high-performing and close-knit Function Centre team!
You will be able to engage and support a wide range of local community groups, organisations, local residents, staff and casual hirers as they utilize the Manningham Function Centre, Civic Centre and MC2 meeting and event spaces.
Providing an exceptional end to end user experience as part of our Community Venues team, you will be able to utilize and grow your skills in stakeholder management, venue bookings and systems knowledge. This is a fantastic chance to add new experiences, skills and learnings that will complement your professional development.
On a typical day, you might be required to take venue bookings and liaise with hirers to ensure our team are able to meet expectations.
Using your interpersonal capabilities and leaning on your prior experience in a customer facing role, you will support our telephone, internet and in-person enquiry process, working together with our Function Centre Administration Team and using our Venue Event Management System (VEMS) to deliver a high-level user experience that delivers to client needs.
Skills and Experience
- Strong, professional focus on customer service and guest satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and proven experience within a previous customer service or administration position, including phone-based customer service roles
- Experience with Venue Event Management Systems (VEMS), online booking systems or similar
- Competent computer skills – e.g. MS Office Applications
- Highly organised, enthusiastic with strong time management skills
- Collaborative and team focused
- Availability across weekday afternoons will be greatly considered
