  • $93,237 + 11% Superannuation (pro rata)

About the Role

Under the direction of the Senior Digital Communications Advisor, you will drive audience growth and engagement on our social media channels through creative social media content production.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate and integrate with other internal stakeholders to deliver engaging and informative content.
  • Proactively update and assist in maintaining Council’s core digital assets.
  • On site live streaming of council meetings as required
  • Contribute strong content and story ideas for our digital channels.
  • Provide regular reporting and action on insights from social media analytics.
  • Provide thoughtful and accurate digital communication advice to our internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualified in Digital Communications/Marketing or other relevant field with extensive relevant experience in communications and media marketing.
  • Experienced in initiating content ideas and managing and protecting an organisation’s brand and reputation through social media.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in producing digital content as a marketing and communications tool across multiple platforms.
  • Skilled in managing time and resources for timely completion of digital communication projects despite competing and conflicting pressures.
