About the Role
This position will be focused on supporting the Recreation team to maximise the opportunities for participation in physical activity by getting the Manningham community into our numerous parks, onto our many paths and trails into our sport, recreation and leisure facilities and being physically active.
The position will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the team including administration of outdoor sporting facility bookings, meeting scheduling/agendas/minutes, website updates, customer service and general administration.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualified in leisure, sport/recreation, administration or other relevant field or extensive experience supporting a business unit in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the operations of a busy multi faceted business unit with a strong community focus.
- A highly skilled operator in MS Office, booking systems, data management software, customer request systems, website administration and general office software and equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of policy and procedures.
- A strong customer focused collaborator, able to build strong relationships and support others.
- Flexible to respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes.
- Demonstrated experience working in or with the community, local sporting clubs or voluntary organisations.
