  • $99,417 + 10% Superannuation (pro rata)
  • Based at Civic Centre, Doncaster

About the Role

The Social Planning Lead will provide leadership on evidence-based policy and planning practice, and design and deliver projects which respond to the social needs of established and emerging communities.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in social planning, social science or related disciplines. 
  • Knowledgeable of data sources available and able to analyse and synthesise such data sources to inform social policy.
  • Highly skilled in developing effective relationships and robust partnerships across government, academic, community and private sectors.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with Councillors, executives, managers, Council officers and community representatives.
  • The confidence and capability to lead a highly visible project.
  • A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
