The Digital Communications Advisor will create and manage engaging content for use on a range of digital communication platforms including Council’s websites and social media platforms to engage the Manningham community and Council staff.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications in Communications/Marketing with extensive experience in digital communications, website design and project management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in producing digital content as a marketing and communications tool across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to use video and still cameras to a high standard and experience in various editing programs for both formats.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing tools (social media management, website analytics, eDM).
- Demonstrated successful experience in generating ideas for compelling digital content within a large and complex organisation.
- Understanding of digital communication development methodologies and architectures, search engine optimisation, analytical reporting, web environments, usability and accessibility standards.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and protecting an organisation’s brand and reputation through digital media.
- Skills in managing time and resources for timely completion of digital communication projects despite competing and conflicting pressures.
- Ability to liaise effectively and collaborate with stakeholders on a range of activities and set objectives, and to problem solve as and when required.
