  • Band 3, $63,346 + 10.5 % Superannuation (pro rata)

About the Role

The primary focus of the role is for Home Support Workers to undertake a range of domestic assistance tasks for frail older people and to assist with personal care and respite care as directed by the service plan requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in providing domestic assistance, personal care, and respite care tasks for frail older people.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with frail older clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • The ability to work without direct supervision, but within a directed framework.
  • The demonstrated ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Follow OH&S directions and in particular Covid-19 infection control guidelines effectively.
  • A second language is desirable to meet the service demand for home support workers who are proficient in Greek, Italian, and Chinese but not essential.
