About the Role
We are seeking Customer Service Officers to join our team. Our Customer Service Officers provide outstanding customer service across a range of channels including phone, in person and live chat. The aim of the team is to resolve the majority of enquiries at first point of contact and to do so in a courteous, respectful way in line with our organisational values and customer charter.
Applicants must be available to work on Mondays and are required to state their full availability in their cover letter.
The ideal candidates will have:
- demonstrated experience in providing customer service, preferably in a contact centre, in a large or complex organisation using multiple I.T. systems.
- ability to build rapport with internal and external customers to gain their cooperation and assistance in resolving enquiries and requests.
- ability to use discretion and diplomacy in dealing with customer enquiries and complaints.
- demonstrated ability to complete tasks within agreed timeframes and the flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
- ability to use conflict resolution techniques to address issues
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to manage time, set priorities and organise work outputs.
