About the Role
The Senior Landscape Architect is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of a range of open space and playspace upgrades to achieve organisational and personal development goals. The Senior Landscape Architect plays a key role in shaping and creating well-designed, liveable and vibrant open spaces for our community.
Skills and Experience
- A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or an allied discipline and a minimum of five years work experience in Landscape Architecture at a senior level.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of complex urban and landscape designs and strategic plans that deliver high quality outcomes to meet the needs of a diverse and changing community.
- Ability to make decisions with minimal direction.
- Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and able to complete tasks within tight timeframes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated ability to prepare concise and accurate plans and reports.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with and gain cooperation of Council staff and the community.
