About the Role

Our City Compliance team is seeking an experience and competent administrator and customer service professional to assist in the effective delivery of our City Compliance administration Services.

You will be taking customer requests, enquiries and complaints from the local community, efficiently providing administration support for multiple areas within the City Compliance unit, including Animal Management, Traffic Management and Local Laws and Planning Enforcement, so it is essential that you use your exceptional communication, organisation and time management skills to provide a consistently high level of service. 

You are a motivated, customer focused person who has a track record of providing a high level of customer service. You have demonstrated experience working within a dynamic, fast paced environment and are expert at managing competing priorities. Your strong communication skills enables you to effectively communicate and establish relationships with stakeholders including community, contractors, businesses and government. 

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration will be highly regarded.
  • Desirable to have knowledge and experience in the Local Government sector preferably within the Local Laws/compliance area.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of compliance related initiatives and activities.
  • Highly proficient user of MS Office Suite, data management software, customer service request systems and general software and equipment.
  • A strong customer focused collaborator, able to build strong relationships and support others.
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
  • Flexibility to manage competing priorities.
