About the Role

You will join a dynamic group of engineers in the Traffic and Development team. As an experienced traffic engineer, you will be the go-to person for traffic, transport and road safety queries from the community and internal stakeholders. You will assist in the development of a safe and well-connected transport system and deliver on our Road Safety, Bicycle and Pedestrian Strategies.

 Skills and Experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in traffic engineering, design, street lighting, traffic management and planning referrals.
  • Experienced in managing projects in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to respond to changing priorities and complete tasks within timeframes.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • A registered (or eligible) professional engineer pursuant to the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019 (VIC),
  • Drivers license valid in Victoria
