Be a part of our journey in this new critical role in the People Experience Team. As the Contractor Safety Partner, you will support shaping our contemporary approach to health and safety. This includes delivering engagement across internal and external stakeholders driving exceptional people outcomes while meeting our compliance and legislative obligations. Partnering with our People Experience team and leaders your role will be pivotal in establishing relationships that underpin the development and implementation of our safety strategies particularly as they relate to our management of contractors. What we are seeking
- Have a Tertiary qualification in Business, Contract Management or OHS, with experience in Health & Safety incident investigation and Health & Safety auditing.
- Contractor management expertise including identifying workplace risks, safety hazards along with implementing controls and solutions.
- Experience in contractor safety compliance program development and management with ability to conduct and deliver tender submission evaluation.
- Experience in reporting to ensure transparency and good governance.
- Experience in developing OHS and contract management policy guidelines to ensure strong documentation, systems compliance.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills to maintain and build effective relationships.
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems undertaking collaboration to respond to complex or significant issues.
